Can I play sims on a mac?

I got the trial version of the sims 4 on origin, but I'm not sure how to actually play it. I can see it and click on it in my game library but It says its only available on Windows and I have a Mac. Though, earlier, it said it worked on both. I'm very new at this. What do I do to actually play the game? Please help! Thank you!

@CateM15  Yes, you can play Sims 4 on a Mac: the game itself works fine in macOS (most of the time).  The trial version is indeed Windows only, as is Origin Access, which Origin tries to sell instead of the standalone game.  Here's a guide:
