Can I make it so friends don't get notifications from me about gameplay?

I always get notifications that say when my Origin friends start and stop playing certain games (mostly the Sims 4). I'm a little embarrassed about how long I am able to play the Sims unbroken and would like to make it so I don't broadcast these notifications, but there doesn't seem to be a privacy setting for it, and the only options under notifications are to turn off my receiving of notifications from other people. Surely there's a way to do this.

well, i can agree with you, but devs never think of revesed options.
this require people with High IQ , and humans learn this later in life
24years old + its here you learn there is no YES and NO alone and alot of what if ( greyzone )

and programing diagram chart ( as you see most app lack intelligence )
better end the debat and let EA devs pick this up. and that why i replyed on your post. so its bump and get notice.
