Battlefront II Steam

I just saw EA's Battlefront II has been released on steam, do we have any way to connect the game from origin or do we need to buy it again if we want to launch it from steam/have our progress ported to steam?

Hello there,

There are a few things to keep in mind:

• You still need Origin to play EA games on Steam
• Launching and installing via Steam opens Origin in the background
• Your Origin games do not automatically transfer to Steam
• You can still add non-Steam games to see your Origin games in your Steam library

Would these be different to Origin achievements? 'cos BF2 has some, as does Fallen Order.

@Straatford87 Hello, sorry to bother again. I have bought Battlefront II again on steam today and I wanted to know if there's any way to avoid to have to download the game again to be able to link my steam account and my origin account? I'm not really thrilled to have to do a 30 hours download for something I have already downloaded just to link my accounts. Is there any other to do it please? :S

Hi, I bought Battlefront 2 on steam. I've been having the common issue of the game not starting up (black screen and closing before launching). I have tried all kinds of solutions to fix, and I haven't even been able to play. Would buying through origin itself and skipping steam potentially fix this? Before I go and waste $50+ I want to be sure. Thanks
