BFV Online not for access???

Hello

I've bought EA Access vault just for the 10hr demo for BFV to see if it was a good game. Seems like it doesn't allow for multiplayer?

Am i supposed to be 'lured' into buying the game, without even trying the content that are the core content in the game???

Hey @Vizition,

If you have EA Access, the 10 hour Trial for Battlefield V should allow you to play Multiplayer.

Are you getting any errors when trying this?

I have seen some grumblings from other interweb people about this. One user has said disabling DX12 in the options then restarting the game (magically! lol) fixes this issue - I have no idea how turning of DX12 would aid this as a fix but hey ho.

Also it is stated in a reddit feed that disabling DX12 helps... (no idea)

• "Missing Online Access"

  • Players are prompted with the "Missing Online Access" message at the main menu.

  • If the players don’t have any account infractions, this can often times be resolved by turning off DX12 in the video settings.

  • If that doesn’t work, they can still go ahead and contact support.

  • Status: Currently investigating.

Could it  be you simply joined at a bad time when the patch was released? have you tried and restarted the game?

I can confirm at least for me that when in DX12, I can not get any online access. As soon as I go to DX11 and restart, I have full online capabilities. It's pretty lame to have a 1200$ GPU, and having to use a last gen API.
