BF3 wasnt a " Bad game " like COD arena But BF2042 is a true Comb

It aint cherry picking , and i never said BFBC or BF3 were " bad games " . But i certainly remember how most BF2 hardcore players felt about the game . Of course you had some big maps and some remakes maps etc.. but the focus was shifted trying to please a New audience " COD style players " as well as trying to please the " OLD guard " but it didnt work as Dice wanted to the COD style players took over by a long margin and with the servers browsers and servers owned the map rotations of most populated servers end up forcing either 1 of the big map in 24/7 rotation or infantry focus only on 90% of the maps ..

@Tank2042ManI'm 52 years old and are way past "masculinity" or "fragile ego" issues and I find the voice-lines to be really stupid and very annoying.

It's all about setting. I have played some Apex Legends and have no issue with the voice-lines in Apex (which are as 'cringy' as any BF2042s voiceline).

But for BF it is wrong. BF is "brutal warfare" (you die a lot) and the existing specialists are so out of place in that setting. Making the specialists behave like children/teenagers, is intelligence insulting, it doesn't hurt my "masculinity" in any way.

On that we agree , i want the game to feel serious and Dystopian but sadly DICE wanted there to cater to the " Fortnite/Apex " kids who want colorfull silly characters ..

But overall it remain that BF2042 is back to Large scale Combines arms gameplay , I get behind specialist choices but i dislike most of their cosmetics .. The new Mckay skins they will give us for free , or Dozer skins etc. are fitting for the game .. but the Sundance " INstagram model " type of wannabe look army with hairstyles and so on its ridiculous for a game like this .

Cosmetically I dislike many of 2042 choices but on design and balance i think they got a lot of stuff right . especially conquest 128 , specialist and loadout are mostly fine to me . But all the cosmetics and even some of the map feels need to be revised

And corny one liners need to be remooved

@DuaneDibbley Metro scales a lot better with the classic ruleset and friendly fire, and some limitations on grenade launchers.

@kregora Metro was semi acceptable in Rush game mode only with a maximum of 24 to 32 players max ... Metroy conquest 64 players KDR farms has ruined BF3 and 4

@Stew360 There is no KDR farming when friendly fire is active, and explosives are restricted. The only KDR farming I have seen is players in tanks that use to fall back into the base to repair. And that happens on every not infantry centered map.

@kregora Its still KDR farming easymode also Admins always abused by making themselves respawn on Russian side where they got to B faster then farmed stairs all day long .. Everyones you saw in Bf3 And 4 with insanely high KD always had their battlelog filled with 150 metro24/7 matchin a row lol
explosive or yardcore or not Metro 24/7 64 player was a KDR farming exploits ..
