Since the latest xbox one update this afternoon the audio quality is much worse through my headset when playing Apex. I can hear the difference shortly after the game has loaded.
The sound is really tinny. Its like the bass has been turned off and treble is turned up high.
Its really wierd. If I unplug my headset and plug it back in the sound quality goes back to normal for around 3 or 4 seconds and then goes really tinny again. I've checked my xbox settings but can't tell the difference.
Apex is the only game I play so I can't tell if other games are affected or not and wondered if anyone else has noticed this problem?
It's only happened since the latest xbox one update

Managed to figure it out if anyone else has the same issue.
It appears that in the latest xbox update the headset audio settings have changed in the volume & audio output settings menu. I changed this to "stereo uncompressed" and this has fixed the problem.
