Apex Legends Patch (event) delayed, is anyone surprised? [ Edited ]

Im not even surprised by Respawns behavior any more... 

This basically happens every patch that Respawn releases.

*UPDATE*

The patch is currently scheduled to be available for download around 3pm PST today on all platforms. We'll update if there are any changes.

We will release it ASAP meaning = some time this month, but most likely in 2-3. Or they will just remove the event all together, because a "hiccup".

Has this happened before? I can't think of any patch that's been delayed so far. 

At least they are communicating with their players. 

Stop complaining and just wait it out. I'd rather have a smooth patch than a messed up one.

And yes it has happened before.
I agree on the smooth patch. But taking this long is just in line with EAs guidelines on how they run their company right now. And i don't have a lot of love over for EA.

A little chirping is warranted, in my field of work, to the detriment of a pi$$ed off client, deadlines are non-negotiable.

Hopefully they get it sorted out soon, but you can’t deny they had plenty of time to bullet proof this update.

its always dont complain why are you complaining why why why.......

lets ask our selves what it would be liek to actaully have the company just do what they said they were going to do in the first place..... pretty much elimanetes the peopel WHO PAY FOR THE GAME to have an opinion that is downplayed.....

in the end we should have to just wait it out..... just wait longer ..... hold on you almost got it.... Nah just wait a bit more.......but yet youll allow the company you pay to do this to you?

i think we should hold them to a higher standard then this....
