Do note they want 5+ years of experience as a game designer working on AAA titles. ****posting on the forums doesn’t really count towards that.

Did't you hear? Every week as a keyboard warrior earns you 1 year of real life experience as a developer.

The fact some people here behave like this were true doesn't make it true.

Indeed it is not. Fortunately, that is not the world we live in thankfully.

Ha, yeah right. So I can get frustrated by their incompetence and quit after a month?

Holy hells! That makes me way overqualified for the job.

That is very telling, and very worrying.  Here they were telling us they were going to make small changes to the loot system over the next few months until it is where they want it to be, yet the real story seems to be that no one there knows what to do and they need the time to hire someone to do it.  Most distressing.

Although I am under the impression that Austin is handling Anthem now and they have already made a live service game, so this position could be for the next game Edmonton will be working on, presumably Dragon Age 4.

Yes, it's by no means simple to assume which game or games this position will be working one. Either way, it shows an investment into more content, which can't be a bad thing.
