Any possibility of no-story NFS in the future?

Ever since Blackbox started the trend of story in a racing game, almost ever NFS other than Sim style Shift and Criterion's works have stories in them. And just like in Blackbox era, stories in Ghost games are also not motivational. Back in classic era stories aren't a must content in the games. So will we see a new non-story-led NFS game in the future? (Styles aren't a problem,street racer or Cannonball Fever are both possible for a no story game)
