Am i the only one who keep hearing this mysterious sound? [ Edited ]

I always noticed this Coughing sound right before legends selection, at first i thought that was my teammate's mic but turns out it wasn't. I wonder what's the meaning behind that lol

@bosourd It’s caustic coughing. Dunno how it happends tho. It’s been around since S1

I heard the coughing, but also stuff being dropped, elimination or announcement sounds.  I suppose it's a sound bug, but got used to it, it makes the lobby feel more alive before dropping to certain death.

You know I noticed that too. I figured it was a bug seeing as I was in a party on xbox but still heard it.

@bosourd everyone gets thrown into a little "spawn" area before any selection is made.

Sometimes during s1 you were able to see a few legends just standing around but I think they fixed it so it stays as a black screen.

Kinda looks like the starting area in training mode.

@bosourd It's the Legends waiting in the staging area or jump ship.
Pretty certain is deliberate.

@bosourd BRUH I was going to post about this the other day. I was thinking, "WHEN are they going to fix this cough?" I mean ... I've gotten used to it but it bugs me if I just dropped onto another squad and get a peacekeeper to the face

Probably there is a pre load area from were players are teleported to the ship when they drop out. It would look like in pubg except we have no control of visual there.
