Accidentally registered a new account for Apex Legends on Steam

I have been playing apex legends on Origin and am planning to move my account to Steam.

However, when I first booted Apex Legends on steam, I accidentally clicked on "Register" button instead of the one below, which is for linking accounts.

Since then, I am not able to link my original account (with some progression) to steam.

Currently, Apex Legends on steam is on a new account with 0 progression, and I am searching for a way to fix this.

Any advice would be helpful.

Unfortunately, I have tried that but the log in pop up didn't show up.

When you've got the chance I'd recommend getting in touch with the EA Help team so they can take a look. They may be able to help get your accounts sorted out. Unfortunately that isn't something we can look into over Answers HQ.
