That sucks man!
I really like this game and wanted to mainly stream this one but it's just impossible.
Can you share your PC specs? Also which version of Nvidia driver are you running?

Are you using RTX board?
I had same problem with RTX 2080 Ti w/ 418.81 and 418.91 driver.
My solution was installing older driver such as 417.71.
Now I've never got same error after installed 417.71 driver.
Board? Lol.
Yes as I described before I have RTX 2080 TI, and was using drivers 418.81 and 418.91 however today I decided to downgrade to 417.71 and I haven't had any crashes so far.
I hope it will continue this way because this has pissed me off already. And going down to 417.71 the graphics were affected so it doesn't look as beautiful as driver 418.xx even though I have MAXED settings.
I hope a genuine fix is on the way soon!

Just got the same error as you, DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED The video card has been physically removed from the system, or a driver upgrade for the video card has occurred.
I have similar specs to you 9900K 2080Ti.
I've attached my dxdiag report.
I'm running two monitors one in portrait one in landscape, I've turned G-Sync off and GeForce Experience off.
