ACCOUNT WRONGFULLY BANNED/SUSPENDED. (EA REMOVED MY PREVIOUS POST)

My account was wrongfully banned/suspended before you jump to conclusions, I can tell you its not for cheating, being toxic, etc. My account was recently banned/suspended due to a disputed transaction that I made a few months ago. 

Heres the story

On February 26th I attempted to purchase ONE $19.99 worth of apex coins, with a 150 apex coin bonus. After putting my card information in and clicking "purchase" the dialog box disappeared, I noticed that the apex coins were not showing on my account and I decided to try it again seeing maybe I made a foolish mistake, again it didn't show my balance for the coin. I thought that the credit card information was wrong so I re-typed it and again no fund. So I restarted my computer and opened apex legends, and there was a balance of coins that were equal to purchasing THREE $19.99 worth of apex coins plus the 150 bouns. 

I immediately closed my game and contacted EA's support, I picked the chat option as a means of communication. After explaining my issue to Saurabh who happened to be my support agent. She said

 " Actually right now you are holding 6450 coins right now If you'll allow me so that I can speak with my specialist team if they might have the option to get them back ?" 

Note: all the coins were not used at any time during this conversation with the support. 

(6450 Apex Coins) is 3X the amount for the $19.99 option 2000 coins + 150 bonus

After waiting a few seconds Saurabh replied: "Thanks champ.B ut I'm really sorry that I even our specialist were not able to provide you refund ." 

I accepted that I wasn't able to receive the refund and thanked Saurabh for trying seeing that she even went to a specialist to try. 

I asked kindly if they could possibly match me on what I would have gotten if I purchased $59.00 bundle of apex coins seeing since I couldn't be refunded the money, I might as well get what I would have gotten if I spent $59.00 which is only 250 more apex coins. 

Saurabh told me, unfortunately, she was unable to do that as well. At this point, I was a little frustrated but mind you I never once throughout the conversation with Saurabh, become or acted rudely seeing she did everything she could. She gave me a %15 percent discount code that was absolutely a slap in the face.

So I went through my bank and disputed ONLY one of the transactions seeing that I would eventually spend on apex coins in the future. ( I have since then, almost $150 dollars worth) and I only disputed the one transaction because as a customer if I follow your procedure and everything I should be able to receive a refund, or even if I can't I should have been given the difference of coins.

On,  March 20th I came home from work at 9:00 PM and attempted to log in to my Origin account, stopped and redirected to a dialog box that says " sign in failure, please try again" so I tried again, and still redirected to the same message. I was on discord with a friend who absolutely thought it was hilarious I couldn't log on, told me to jump over to their EA HELP page, so I did go through the normal options of what was going on, and then a message appeared at the bottom of the screen  with this message 

"It looks like your account or the game account where you're trying to get help broke our rules.

You can review the rules in our article.

Think your account was banned or suspended by mistake? We can create a case for you to get help with that instead."

CONFUSED I quickly went to my email that my account was tied too, to see if I got something about this and surprisingly I didn't get anything ( i checked my trash and spam, went through everything)

So I tried to connect to chat/call feature to figure out what was going on but was unable too, I come to find out. That those options are no longer available to me because my account was banned/suspended. So I made a whole new account to get some support, and after a few minutes was able to reach someone after going through their questionnaires I was responded with " Your account has been flagged with a sanction on it". I was so confused about what I did too, get my account banned, so I asked the support agent and he said he was able to help me and that he couldn't give me an answer. So I said my thank you for trying and what not.

Next day

Becoming impatient, seeing that I never received any official email or anything, I made another case and picked the phone option. I got ahold of a rep by the name of Thomas and I explained my whole situation and he gave me the same answer that all the other reps did until I mentioned that while looking through Reddit, forums and etc I noticed that people have been banned for disputing transactions. He replied yes, they do so I mentioned what happened the other month and he said " let me do some digging" he went through my old case file and everything and throughout this whole conversation was extremely understanding and patient with me. After doing some digging he came to the conclusion that Saurabh was indeed actually able to give me a refund,  he went through the transcript of the conversation with Saurabh and pointed a few things that should have happened.

One: They were able to give me a refund

Two: If this is the case of your ban, it should have never happened

Thomas did everything possible in his power to help me, he made a whole case detailing his finding and even reassured me that the system works, you gotta be patient and if you didn't do anything wrong then it will be corrected. 

72hrs after the Banned/Suspension I still haven't received anything. So I am left to think that the system doesn't work, that EA doesn't care about their customers.

This Topic isn't to kiss * with EA and say look at me, but for all the players out there be careful, don't act out of emotion, ALWAYS be kind to the support, and most importantly don't dispute EA transactions.

If you have a sanction on your account @Capt_sneaky then you will need to speak to our Terms of Service team

 

The process to contact our ToS team can be found here: https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/account/information-about-banned-or-suspended-accounts/

 

  1. Click Contact usat the top of any page on EA Help.
  2. Select the game that your account was banned or suspended from. If it’s on your whole EA Account, choose Origin.
  3. Choose your platform.
  4. Select Manage my account, then Banned or suspended account.
  5. Fill out any other details below.
  • For example, if you picked Origin, it might ask you if you are accessing the game through an Origin Access membership.
  1. Click Select contact option

 

  1. Sign in to your account that has the ban or suspension, if you aren’t already.

@EA_Darko I have, but no one has actually answered any of my questions or concerns. The only thing I have received is, " we will get back to you soon" contact us with questions. Well I can't contact anyone, with anything without opening a case which I was told would restart this whole process. This is completely mind blowing, why would you treat a paying customer this way

No one on AHQ can assist you with an issue relating to a ToS sanction @Capt_sneaky.


You need to be patient and give our ToS team time to investigate and respond.

@EA_Darkoi have not still received anything on why i was banned/suspended, and its been a week. Now besides ToS who can assist me with this? because i have over $300 dollars invested into this account.

As I have advised @Capt_sneaky. The only people who can help you in relation to your Terms of Service enquiry is our ToS team. You will need to wait till you hear back from them. There is no one on AHQ who can provide any information or assistance in relation to your issue beyond the information I have already shared.
