@Eshadhillon you could wait for the winter sales and buy the Sims 4. The base game enters relatively often in sales and i am pretty sure that it will be in the Christmas sales.
You could try to refund it, if you've bought it from the Origin store. If not, i doubt that you can refund it, as the retail stores will reject a refund if the code was registered to your Origin/Steam/uPlay/GOG account.
