my sim won't let go of their homework

Basically, I was getting my sim to do their homework, however, they didn't finish it before they were exhausted. So I sent them to bed, expecting them to just sleep and do it later. To my surprise, she had it in her hand and refused to sleep, eat, drink coffee or actually do her homework since she is very uncomfortable. I can't find a way for her to stop holding her homework and raise her stats so that she is normal again. Does anyone have any way to solve this?

Please reset the Sim:

Open the cheat window by pressing CTRL + Shift + C.

Type resetSim Firstname Lastname and click Enter.

Make sure you enter the actual name of the Sim you want to reset.

You can also just travel or edit in CAS.

Does this happen often for you?
