i added a new family member and i clicked save nut now i cant find them

I just spent an hour creating a new family member to an existing family(it was an adults parent), saved it but they aren't appearing when I try to play, so I tried again thinking I forgot to press done but I edited the relations and couldn't put the same as I previously had, so it must of worked, but I pressed done and the same thing happened please someone help!!!!!

@Dsimsplayer, is the Sim in your Gallery Library at all?  If they are then it should be easy to add them to any neighborhood!    If they aren't in your library then do you use Mods or Custom Content (CC)?   If so then you need to temporarily remove you Mods folder to your desktop and then test your game by making another Sim and seeing if the same thing happens. You can also try repairing your game through Origin. 

Other than that, it might be possible that your Sim is in the game but isn't "in the world". But I would try the other things I mentioned first.
