What would happen to Sims 4 Digital Deluxe when Origin Access expires?

Today, I purchased Origin Access and got my Sims 4 Standard Edition upgraded to DD for free. I wonder what would happen if my subscription expires? Will the content just disappear and my game downgraded to the standard edition, and would my saves be affected in any way? I searched around but there didn't seem to be any official documentation about it. Thanks for your time.

If I'm understanding how Origin Access works, you'll loose access to the games (content) you have not purchased. However, your Sims 4 folder will be safe.

I think of Origin Access almost like a rental service of sorts.
