I want to cook all possible recipes and save them in a room to be able to use them for builds easier, but when I save the room the dishes are not saved with it. I see other rooms containing food on the gallery that are saved correctly so either it is a new bug or it is my low computer settings. I am using a laptop on lowest graphic settings, Intel celeron processor, and 4GB ram

@HanbamSims I was just looking into this issue for a room I was building last night and today. This is what I found out.
1. Please reference this forum chat: https://forums.thesims.com/en_US/discussion/946909/create-a-room-with-food-in-it
2. In the end this is the workaround I made for my room:
I was making a room and wanted to add the food, but the food always disappeared when uploaded to the library (except for the fruit on the table). Even if I added plated or unplated food from 'debug... it would be gone once uploaded to the gallery. So... after reading this post I was able to do the workaround and upload the food as a residential lot... and by doing the following it can be added to the room by a person downloading. Thank you so much!!
Sooo... this is the room: https://www.ea.com/games/the-sims/the-sims-4/pc/gallery/F9959C45058D11E98A98B573E4FD424D?category=al...
And this is the lot with the food to add to the tables in the room: https://www.ea.com/games/the-sims/the-sims-4/pc/gallery/5BEBAF3504CD11E98A6A526B46B29011?category=all&searchtype=ea_origin_id&sortby=newest&time=all&searchquery=SheriGR&max=50&maxis=false
Workaround note to get the food for your Soul Cake gathering: I saved a ‘residence-room’ (in the gallery, called “Soul Cake Christmas Food”) with the food but needed to save the room as a residence. This seems to be the only way to get the food (aside from fruit) to upload and download in the gallery. So… you can download the lot with the food, have one sim move out and buy the lot with the food room put the food in their personal inventory, bulldoze and sell the lot, then have them move back in. Use or refrigerate the food right away, though, or it will go bad. A lot of work for food, but maybe not if you don’t have a sim with the cooking skills.

Thank you @SheriGR, I'll use this workaround for the time being. If you find any other fixes let me know, I'd really rather save rooms rather than lots.

@HanbamSims I agree... saving them as a room is way less complicated and makes so much sense. I hope this is an added option in the near future as well!
