Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.47.51.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Go to regular lot and terrain tools
What happens when the bug occurs? The grid for flat terrain won't show up until bulldozing terrain. Even then the edges are missing a grid. This occurs on many lots.
What do you expect to see? Complete grid for all the flat lots in game
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure
before bulldozing terrain, there's no grid, except for small pieces on the edge for some reason
after bulldozing terrain, the grid still show up incomplete, except now for the edge of the lot.

@SproutLee the lots actually are not flat to begin with. When you enter a lot with grid lines on and then go to terrain tools, you can press "G" to show grid lines, and you will usually some for the part of the lot that is actually flat. What you'll need to do to ensure you're dealing with a (mostly) flat lot, is to use the new "Flatten Lot" button in terrain tools. This will provide grid lines for most of the lot, but in some cases, some of the edges will not be flat because of how the lot has been placed (next to somewhat elevated terrain).

Here's another really good example of this in Willow Creek
before bulldozing
After bulldozing

These are all flat lots too. I didn't smooth any of the terrain or anything.
