Is it normal to be visited by ghosts of townies? [Sims 4]

Hi,

This is something I noticed in my game.

Ever since the recent patch updates, ghosts of NPC/townies kept appearing into my Sims' home and either do some wreckage like they usually do or be a nice ghost and take out the trash. I have ghosts of the deceased family members in my Sims' home lot, but after the huge patch update, non-family Ghost Sims showed up even though their tombstones aren't anywhere close to my Sims' home.

Is this supposed to happen? I know there's the whole new culling thing going on, but this is getting a tad annoying.
