Can you lock first person camera in place?

I just recently got back into S4, so excuse my forgetfulness of information. When I go into first person mode by tab + shift, how do I lock the camera in place instead of it following my sims head? For example, if my sim is talking to someone while watching TV, how can I lock my sims head into JUST watching the TV and not turn it’s head to look at the person they’re talking to? Many thanks.

@probglum According to this article you can use your mouse to direct where the sim looks? See where they say "Mouse Look - Move your view around, separate from the direction your Sim is currently looking."
