Can I fix a corrupt save file by restoring previously made backup?

Hello, asking this in case any of my saves will go corrupt in the future.

So let's say my save file goes corrupt for some reason and I have never done a save as (I never do them I always just save and exit my game), could I fix it just by deleting it from my game and restoring a previous backup of that save?

Not sure what you mean by a 'corrupt game'.. as to other saved games, yes.. the Sims 4 has previous auto saves. The following shows you some links that will step you through the process.

• • Prior saved Games >> there's a good guide at Carls Sims 4 Guide also, you can go back to an earlier save, if you need to know how go to Carls Sims 4 Guide for directions on doing that and salvage from an earlier time.
