I just installed the new evga 2080 ti ftw3 graphics card and loaded up the game for the first time. When I get to the main menu the game is saying my graphics card is not recognized and then gave me some default graphics. when i went to go change the graphics the game crashes and now it's unplayable. Only happens with the Sims 4, no other games. any help?

Can you try the steps I have posted on this recently here:

@BrohemianJoe7 Adding a video chip to Sims 4 only requires you edit the GraphicsCard.sgr file. As there already is a 2080 entry your card may be newer and have a different devise id. The name also has to match. This information can be found when you run dxdiag. You can change the existing line but I prefer to add a new line. The file is a text file and can be edited with notepad.

Is there a link on the steps to add a chip?
