Madden 23 Classic teams or Legends

So classic teams I understand, it must be difficult to secure rights for so many players. My question though is why the only way I can play as legends such as Randy Moss, Terrell Owens or Michael Vick is by playing Madden Ultimate Team. They are locked to that mode.

Why can't we just have those legends in franchise mode? You know, like in Madden 2008 for example: There was an option before you started Franchise mode to include legends or not. I just can't find a reason other then forcing players to play Ultimate Team that those players, who are already in the game, are locked to Ultimate Team.

Any feedback from EA members would be greatly appreciated.

don't hold your breath awaiting a reply. They still have not addressed create-a-team for me.
