Background EA Processes on Startup

★ Guide

I just noticed that when I do a cold start of my computer there are EA processes running. I complained earlier about the new app because now when I exit Madden I don't just exit I get a dialogue box with an audible warning that it will be running in the background (after I just tried to close it), then I have to open up the apps icon in windows and exit the EA background processes. Now I find that EA is running processes on my computer 24 hours a day regardless of whether I start up an EA application or not. What gives you the right to run programs on my computer without my instruction or knowledge?

@flapper234

The "clean boot" process will allow you to prevent items running at startup, thanks.

@EA_Barry Thx for the reply, but the image I uploaded is after a clean boot. The processes run on my computer whether I start Madden 23 or not. And it's active--the CPU activity goes up and down, only to 1% but still active.

What's EA Play?

New name, new look, same great benefits: EA Access and Origin Access are now EA Play.
