Apparently that email didnt arrive either ...
but goodnews support found the pop on a previous ticket when the account was disabled , so the game time is getting added as I type

Indeed, I just got the "Thank you for your subscription" email! Thank you very much for your help, couldn't have done this without you.
It is still a mystery to me how can support not see the emails I sent, but at least now the case is solved.

Chased up again for you no emails where found to swtor
However swtor support found a ticket created on the EA side not the swtor side and it had the pop attached
So game time has been added to your account so you will be all sorted now

Support also recommends cancelling the renewal on steam and repurchase later to be safe this doesnt occur with the renewal
