I no longer have access to any of my old AIM email addresses. Is it possible to deactivate that account or something without them so I can continue to make purchases from my new account/s?

You are a God among men and women! Thank you so much for your help, I really appreciate it. The fact that you are doing this out of your own free will, huge respect. I'm just happy I can play a game I enjoy with no restrictions and with friends again. Also EA... if you ever read this (which let us be honest here... we all know the answer) You should give Proxos666 a massive thanks or send a gift, or pay, or hire, idk DO something to show appreciation! Considering they're helping pull players back from the brink of quitting another one of your published games says it all.

Give support a call when the lines are available they should be able to update that email address on the linked EA account for you

Hello
So I have been trying to subscribe and I still have the maintenance error screen every time I try to get one of the subscriptions
I have tried the reset password logging in on a different browser all that jazz still no dice.

You need to reset the password on the linked EA account that account has a gibberish persona (not SneakyGonorrhea) that account uses a yahoo email
use the following link to reset the password https://signin.ea.com/p/web2/resetPassword then login on that EA account to fix the swtor account for purchasing
for future purchases, use incognito mode on chrome initially if you purchase on swtor.com to be sure browser cache and cookies is cleared
If you have trouble working out what that account is , you are best to call swtor support when the lines come up.
