SWTOR client wont update

hey so i downloaded the game yesterday the launcher downloaded with no problems..... but the game update or patch update keeps getting stuck i have forced the launcher closed by going into task manager and forcing it to close and then i open up the launcher, it will update for a moment that it will freeze again atm it is frozen on 80% anyone know why this is happening or how i can fix it? thanks all
