Returning Player: Can't get into Steam, Can't change Account Email

Hey All,

Returning Player having a few issues before being able to get into the game:

I'm trying to play through steam, I haven't before, there are no accounts linked but everytime I try to log in it tells me to make sure Im using the same steam I always do when playinh, (again: haven't done that) 

And I'm also trying to change my account email from my parents old one to my current email but the SWTOR site doesn't seem to want to update it and reverts back everytime I hit save with no changes made!

Any help is appreciated!

If you are trying to play on steam, ensure you've set it up from the old way of using the launcher as per this guide here.  As far as changing the email, try logging into swtor.com using a different browser to see if that allows you to change it, also try clearing cookies and cache as well.
