Login service currently unavailable?

Was on a few hours ago, tried to get back on and get:

The login service is currently unavailable.  please visit our forums for the latest updates on the status of this service.

I checked server status and system alerts but nothing is reported.  Does anyone else experience this issue?

im new to swtor and when i tried entering my username and password a error pops up and it says login service is currently unavailable ,i have tried restarting my network and restarting my computer and this the 2 day this has happened

Did you try to install the game through Origin?  For some reason this happened to me when I did because Origin is using the old install file (AKA when you used an email to log in).  Try uninstalling that and reinstall from swtor.com and it should patch the installer and restart like it should.

Swtor login servers are down.

Same issue, says the login server is currently unavailable after about 30 seconds or so.

I'm in the UK, and my ISP is Virgin Media if that's of any relevant help. I know Telia is the host for Europe and my ISP and Telia have had issues with one another before.
