When I open the Customer Service Help Request window in the game, it gets stuck on "Updating..." and my Ticket History is blank. It has remained this way for several hours and I am unable to check on the status of my Support Ticket.

I gather you are a subscriber, Worst case send an email to support@swtor.com , detail your username etc , this is another way to create tickets too.
