I bought a subscription, was charged yet did not receive anything

Title says it all, tried to subscribe three days ago purely because I wanted to talk to a support person about randomly disconnecting from the server constantly.

I tried to subscribe but was told that there was an error and to try again later, turns out it DID go through and I WAS charged but never actually received my subscription, this point I just want a full refund so I can wipe my hands of the game entirely.

Already called it in, turns out I was actually charged twice for a service I never received now I'm just waiting for my damn money back.

did they tell you the cause of the failure ? this is to ensure it doesnt happen again in the future

very likely the issue is the linked ea account and that can have an affect on all games on that account not just swtor

They claimed that my account was outright no longer synced to the SWTOR servers, which was also supposed to explain why I was getting random ping spikes that could hit the several millions, the support person claimed that his fix would sync me back and allow me to resub if I wanted and also fix my ping issues.

So far I have not actually received my money back and I'm still receiving those horrible ping spikes so I'm acting under the assumption that everything I was told is a lie and that I was simply stolen from.

Need the swtor username to check refunds 

as to ping spikes , a very high ping ingame  in the millions is not a ping time it is an indicator that the game is not synced to the server as mentioned 

to check for local network issues grab www.pingplotter.com (free version ) and set it to say www.google.com initially and have that graph while you play , when issues occur ingame see if the graph has changed 

that graph can be saved as a jpg and posted here inserted as an image

Support said the refund has been processed just need to wait for the merchant side to process the funds back , that can take up to 7 days but usually quicker
