my pet died while my sims were at a party and I cant find the urn

While my sims were out parting my pet had passed and when they got back and I noticed, there was no urn. I did a full search out the lot the household inventory, and all of my sims inventory's and I still did not find it. where is it?  please help.

@GTgaming90 It is my understanding that if a pet or sim dies while off the lot there will be no urn. So if you cannot find it in the lot or inventory, perhaps the pet left the lot and died. Sorry.

I found the dog at the brindleton bay light house. but you were correct he died off the lot so there was no urn
