how to turn a vampire into a ghost

my vampire just died, I don't know how or where he died because I wasn't focusing on him, but then his wife who I was with became very sad due to losing her spouse. I want to turn him to a ghost but I don't know how and I can't find his grave or whatever it is that sims leave when they die.

He was out in the sun too long. Apparently he didn't die on his home lot so there will be no Urn or Gravestone. So you will not be able to get a ghost.
