cookout doesn't appear in my game

hey everyone so i have every pack ive tired to repair the game a few times and ive never noticed it before but the cookout option does not appear in my game at all ive seen other people play and they have the option 

any help would be great

If you only have the base game then the only option for outdoor cooking is grilling. After clicking on the grill you will find this option. If you have other packs then you will have the option of cooking food on the bonfire, if you have the Island Living pack you will be able even to use an earth oven. As you can see, there is more than one possibility for a cookout in this game.

Are you talking about the Weenie Roast event?

The Weenie Roast event requires The Sims 4 Outdoor Retreat.

LOL... I just stop my whole game because there was no Cookout event, a Weenie roast is not the same. Hopefully, there is a Mod.

@ChapelParalysis A Cookout/barbecue event happens in a backyard (Some backyard stuff and perfect patio stuff items may be used) you are preparing food, making drinks(A bar and/or Drink Tray), grilling food only on a grill, playing card games, listening to the radio, kids playing ball outside.
