Would I need to reinstall Sims 4 if I switch accounts?

I have only 1 Origin account. I was offered from a friend to buy their account that also has The Sims 4 on it but with expansions. Would I need to reinstall The Sims 4 onto my computer to access Sims 4 on that particular account? I searched for an hour through these forums for an answer and nothing. Please help!

As just a head's up, it is against our Terms of Service to share, buy/sell, or gift accounts. This is to protect both parties.

We recommend purchasing the expansions on the account you already own, or if a friend wishes to gift you them, they can gift expansions on Origin at check-out.
