Will this MSI Modern fun Sims 4 + packs

I am in need of a laptop for schooling and I would love it to be able to run the Sims 4 so I don’t have to hog the partners PC. I will still be able to play on that but this will be my main method of playing. I have most expansions and plan to get them all mostly so it needs to be able to run them well.

I am aware of the inter grated graphics so if there are any suggestions around the same price point, that would be great but I would really like a 14” screen, more portable and usable for school.

@Melia265  The laptop you found would run most or all Sims 4 packs on medium settings, although maybe not by much.  Given that you want a 14" laptop, you're not going to get a dedicated graphics card, at least not in the same price range.  You could still do a bit better for your money though.  The integrated graphics chips in the AMD Ryzen 5 2500U and 3500U, and the G1 chip in some new Intel processors, are about equal to each other, and faster than the Intel UHD 620 in the MSI laptop.

There are a lot of options in this category that are about equal, plus or minus some extra storage.  I did find a couple with 16 GB memory instead of the usual 8 GB, which would be nice to have for multitasking purposes.  It's not strictly necessary for Sims 4, but it would make browsing or doing other tasks while playing much easier.

At the low end of the price range, this one is $1,000 and has only a 256 GB hard drive, which is still more than enough for Sims 4, lots of small apps like browsers, and essay-type schoolwork.

This is $1,200 and is the same basic model, but with a stronger processor and a slightly faster integrated graphics chip, plus 512 GB storage.

There are a number of options with 8 GB and either a 256 or 512 GB solid state drive, if you don't like these two.  And most of them allow for a RAM upgrade should you decide you need it.  I doubt any of them have room for more storage though.  Some examples:
