Why is "Eco Score" a base-game feature?
I don't own Eco-Life, and yet plants have Eco-Score in the description, and my Sim will play animations for negative moods like bored or tense.
I read on a couple articles (linked below) that suggest that this was linked to Eco-Life.
I have the "Build Mode items grant Gameplay effects" box unchecked, and yet it seems not to matter.
I didn't buy Eco Life because I didn't want to deal with the Clean Environment mechanic, which its main selling mechanic.
And if it's going to be forced on me, I shouldn't have to pay $40 to even see if I'm making progress, not to mention introducing the slew of problems that brings.
Eco score should be an Eco Life feature. That's almost the whole idea of Eco Life. Even the name implies it ffs. If it was intended to be a base game feature, the name is misleading as hell, because then the pack seems to focus more on building your community than actually taking care of the environment. And if it is intended to be base game, Eco-Life is a $40 pay-to-win.
Ugh.
But all this all begs the question, and I know this is EA we're talking about, but:
