Why is my cat answering the phone?

I had a single Sim with his cat. A townie called to invite my Sim to a party (Sims Sessions specifically). However, his cat decided to answer for him. Not an issue. Just a bizarre thing to see and a mild annoyance as it breaks the immersion. I actually quit playing for a month because of it.

@Hiroko-sama Lol I haven’t had my cat or any animal pick up a phone call before, but just recently someone kept trying to call my dog (domesticated fox breed). It was hilarious but really sad that I couldn’t pick it up

LOL, yeah, someone invited my cat to the Sims Sessions.  :D

TBH I thought it was hilarious, especially since I planned to bring kitty to the concert anyway.
