If I buy a pack on Ps4 will it transfer to PC with an EA account??
July
No, that is not possible. Console and PC/MAC doesn't mix.

Doesn't make a lick of sense why you have to buy expansion packs twice for The Sims 4. Even if you play on console and switch to pc or vice versa. Logging into your EA/ Origin account has the ability to track your purchases, play time, and many other things. Expansion packs exist on both already, so why does it not have the ability to sync the purchases. I can see re-downloading the packs on a new platform, but clearly EA is just greedy and it's never going to change.
For reference I started playing on PC and just tried to see how it would run on PS4 and then I just got mad to see everything gone after logging into My EA/Origin account. Soooooo Dumb!!!!

@WAR_MONGRUEL I've merged your post with the master thread on this issue.
When you bought your content for PC, you paid EA/Origin the entire cost. But for any game on PS4, Sony wants its cut too. So in order for you to get your packs on your console for free, not only would EA have to not charge you a second time, it would have to pay Sony to allow you to play, or else Sony would need to forego its share of the profits. Neither option sounds likely to happen.

@WAR_MONGRUEL, just like it was stated in earlier comments, this an agreement between 3 companies, Sony, Microsoft, and EA. Actually what you are suggesting wouldn't be fair at all to Microsoft and Sony, because they would have agreed to let The Sims 4 be on their platforms and would get nothing for it! Microsoft and Sony deserved to get paid too! If they were to allow PC purchases to be transferred to consoles for free, then Sony and Microsoft would have never allowed The Sims 4 to be available on their consoles in the first place!

I used to play sims 4 on my mac laptop and bought lots of packs. I play on xbox now, and connected my account. None of the packs I used to have are there. How do I get them on my xbox without having to buy them again????

@CandyCat230 , I'm sorry to tell you but you can't.. The platforms are not compatible. Microsoft and Sony have agreed to carry the game, and they want their share of the profits too, or else they would never have allowed the game to be played on their consoles.
So, much like I had a vinyl record album of my favorite band, and then had to buy a cassette tape of the same album and then a CD, and then mp3, all of the same exact album, so it is with the same game on different platforms.

I have a EA account on my xbox and the Sims 4 game cd (for xbox) from Best Buy. I wanted to ask- since I have a EA account and I own the sims 4 cd, does that mean I have it on all platforms as well or no? It may sound like a dumb question, but I'm new to this.

@HAREBEARS No, sorry, you can't use your content on any platform other than XBox. The PC/Mac and console versions are considered separate games in many ways, and if you want to play on PC, you'll need to rebuy the game specifically for PC.

If I sign into my EA account on my Xbox and get a expansion pack can I sign into my EA account on my computer and play it or no?
