Why can't my vampire sim be a father and master at the same time? [ Edited ]

My vampire sim adopted a human child. He got the whim to turn her, and she got a whim to ask him to be turned, so I decided to do so. However, when I did so, he was no longer marked as her father, just as her master, which I noticed after I saw the interaction "Adopt as Care Dependent." I used a cheat to make him her father again, but that in turn made the Master - Offspring relationship disappear. I need both to appear because that's how it's supposed to be, and having one but not the other is annoying and doesn't make any sense. Is there any trick I can do to make this work?

@TrishulaScar Hi. I don't think there is a way to do that. The only way would be a bug. With the new pack, you might have a change, when the bugs first apper.
