Why are patients leaving hospital beds

Idk if anyone else is experiencing this issues but my sims the chief of staff in the doctor field and everytime she goes and admits someone to a bed or even tried the treadmill they turn around and leave ... the beds are empty so it's not an over crowding issue ... I couldn't find anything on this so sorry if theres a topic already started ...

Has your sim been eating/drinking something when they do? That's something I observed on my doc (he's only at Orderly yet, but still)
