If I have the Deluxe version of the sims 4 do I need to pay for the upgrade to the Deluxe legacy pack?
Would I need to downgrade to the nondeluxe for the free upgrade?

@cmrodriguez47 The Legacy Edition is free to anyone who already owns Sims 4, and all owned content through Realm of Magic will also work in the LE. That includes the Digital Deluxe content. Are you sure you need to run the LE though? If you want a second opinion, please run a dxdiag (Windows) and attach it to a post:

or if you have a Mac, list its full specs, including operating system, as described here:

It's sucks but that's just how time and technology goes on. When Windows and Mac stop supporting old operating systems, most games stop supporting them too. I'm used to updates like this for MMOs so it's not a surprise to me, but I can see how it would shock people that don't play many games that have more than 2 or 3 expansions. It's just the way it is, unfortunately. Normally after about 6~10 years is when it's recommended to upgrade to a new computer, or if you use a tower you can just upgrade individual parts of your computer so it's compatible with new operating systems.

Wow! I'm thinking about finally purchasing The Sims 4 and am sure I won't be able to support a 64 Bit Game at all. What I'm seeing here, Yikes! All I want to know is, "If I purchase The Sims 4: Deluxe Edition, will I be able to download The Sims 4: Legacy Edition?"<--It looks like, I can. So, Yay, on that part...at least. Not so yay, because I'm thinking about Expansion Packs & Stuff Packs, too.
