What is this thing on his head and how do I remove it?

My teen sim has this skin tight head dress type thing that he only wears when he sleeps. I didnt put it on him and I cant figure out how to take it off. I tried changing his hair and clothes and looking through all the categories I can think of.

It is a head accessory that should be found under the hat icon in CAS. You should be able to remove it from there.
