What can I get from My First Pet without Cats and Dogs?

I don't have Cats and Dogs pack (I had a traumatic experience and I don't feel comfortable with dogs in my game, please don't make fun of me...) however I really want My First Pet so I can have a cute hedgehog <3, I saw that we need Cats and Dogs to access all content, I assume that the small pets themselves don't need the big pack, is there any other stuff in the small pack that I can get without the big pack? (in build mode)

@Phantomlover1717 It's more with dogs in real life, I was chased by one and I'm kinda scared of them, and since Sims os a life simulation and don't want to have a pet that I'm scared of... thanks for replying
