Tip for completing Journey to Batuu Missions... [ Edited ]

When trying to complete the mission checklist of tasks, do not try to do a mix of the steps. Complete the first step BEFORE moving onto the next step. . .Otherwise your Sim will end up stuck, out of your control for more then several sim hours, before something eventually resets and you can finally control the sim once more and can move on to completing of mission tasks, as they were meant to already have been done.

I am not sure if this issue is occurring in all missions, in all three of the factions, or if it is just in the First Order when doing missions for Kylo Ren. As is the case for my sim. I do not recall if this issue happens while the mission is for Lt. Agnon(Spelling? I feel like that might be wring ).

@Wholesome_Goth , so far, at least for the Resistance Missions, I haven't had a problem with doing them out of order, but I'm still probably in the early stages. But I will keep that in mind as I progress, just in case!   I will also certainly keep that in mind when I do the First Order Missions as well! 😅  Thanks for the tip!

@PugLove888 Just thought I would pass on the solution I finally found, that hopefully might be of help to someone else. 

It is almost funny, and would have been had I not kept forgetting what NOT to do the instant the sim was finally free after many sim hours to complete her mission, ending up right back in the same predicament all over again. The sim being totally free to do what she wanted, going to get food from the vendors, talking to passersby or the gawkers who were still standing nearby after the fight was over and she was supposed to be escorting the prisoner away right then. And sometimes getting into lightsaber fights before I knew it was happening just outside of the view of the camera. While I the humble player of the game was left powerless to click on anything.

Happened again. 😑

This time despite having done the first task for the mission, which was patrol for suspicious activity and then checking the ID's and making an arrest. 😠

I am now starting to wonder if maybe it depends on who my sim is checking the ID of. It seemed to work normally when I had my sim move onto a different sim entirely from the first one she was previously attempting to arrest.

Definitely seems to be limited to Kylo Ren's missions. So far the other missions in the First Order seem to be working smoothly. 🤔

I hope my posting again, even though I was the last one to have previously posted, is ok. I wanted to post the latest development on this issue.

@Wholesome_Goth , I think in this case it would be alright to post another post even if your older one was the last one.  You are updating the situation .  Your only other option would be to edit your old post and put at the end that you are updating us on the situation.   But at least he way you did it here got my attention, since it is possible I might have missed it otherwise! 

I have not played as much as I hoped to so far.  I'm doing a Resistance mission right now, but I'm not too far into it yet. Sorry that one mission is giving you problems.
