That is how I force stop the game on my phone. If you want to be extra sure, you could go into app settings and click "force stop" (that's how it is on my Samsung Galaxy, it's probably different on the iPhone). Cutting off the internet is the most crucial part, though, as it keeps the game from updating on the server, but you have to be quick cause it's not much of a lag.

I’ve got all the latest updates and I’m doing events away from the family as well as baby and toddler events but my baby and toddler seem to be stuck. One of my children grew up to a child but the other two have stayed as baby and toddler for over a week. Any idea on what I can do to fix this?
