Thank you! I love this new feature as well, so that's why I was so upset that it wasn't working for me. But it's amazing that it works for me now! No need to thank me!

@Sims104005 , but I do need to thank you! You took the time to tell me that I helped you -- not everyone does that! 😇 Sometimes I (or other helpers) have helped someone, but we never know if they got their problem solved or not. We are left wondering. 😞 So, thank you for the update and Happy Simming!

Had a similar issue, told two teens to cook a cake together, and they just stood around. The task was active in their bars, but they would not move. I reset them, tried again, nope. Reset again, sent one sim to cook the cake and that worked fine, so clearly the furniture was accessible. Then I told the other sim to 'join the cooking' and she's now standing near him, instructing him. There is a completely free counter near, no decor or anything, so it's a bit funny. Also the cake was just 8 pieces.
The lot is residential rental, not sure if that has anything to do with this. I have had sims cook together before and never actually had problems, adults, children, all worked fine. This is the first time I've had an issue with it.
