Sims 5 - Speculations & Ideas

 New to the Sims, mostly because it’s at an awesome discount, which makes me think that the new one is coming out soon. But since this is my first experience with them, I don’t know if they’ve had these great deals before and the game lasted. But getting something this cheap makes me think something is going on. I downloaded it for PC. Just my two cents.

I won't be buying TS5 unless pets and seasons are included in the base game. I've paid for those expansion packs four times now, time for something as integral to the world as animals and weather not be treated as extra on a life simulation. This would also mean they could be better integrated into EVERY pack, because they were features available for everyone. Also we could get more interesting packs, because the basic things were taken care of. It would be nothing but good for the company honestly, they could release expansions on other animals and people would still shill money the same way they did for cats and dogs, and including pets & weather in the basegame would be extremely good press for a company that tends to go from scandal to scandal.

That's just my opinion though, and I doubt it will happen. But I won't be paying for the same packs for the fifth time, thank you.

Nope, No thank you, The Sims 4 will be my last Sims game I ain't playing a Sims 5, 6, 7, or even 8, and half to wait for 5 to 10 years to even get the content you like, while ignoring the new packs beginning characters until they die.  No thank you, the games that made the Maxis games in the 90 a hit was because of lack of bugs and game developers actually trying to produce a decent game, but nowadays so much of making games is focused on making money, so the games are rushed and full of bugs, which even makes playing games even less fun for the players.  New content is added which creates more bugs on top of old bugs, there is so much content in the sims 4 right now, that I bet no Game developer could even tell you want a single line does in the game.  A good example is the famous Star Wars Game pack Journey to Batuu, it would be really fun if the mission worked right, I had to reset my save back almost a full day because one of the missions was corrupted, and I couldn't find the contraband after I got the passcode, so I had to revert to a older save.  This is the kind of stuff that makes people not want to play games, a whole days worth of playing completely gone because of a mission bug.  Sorry I ain't playing this game, it cost me at least 49.00 for the Sims 4 tittle and at least 49.00 for each expansion pack, and I ask myself why did I pay this munch just for them to make rushed games with a sink full of bugs.  Not anymore, I ain't going to fail in the same trap for the Sims 5, 6, 7, and ect.  I decided the Sims 4 is the last sims game I am going to buy.  And if I do buy the Sims 5 later on it better be a high quality game with very little bugs.  I ain't saying that games should be perfect, nope I am saying games should have the least amount of bugs as possible so that it is playable.  This also brings up another annoying part of the Sims 4, not munch of the new content is repayable, even though I do like the replayablity of the Strangervillie story and the Jungle adventure temple that always changes.

It would be interesting to have this included to the gradual aging process possibility longevity extension  researchers predictions (130-200 years old) with additional amount of time to gradually age further than what is the current standards for gradual aging process especially with the gradual aging of physical outward.

 It simply seems to me that with all of the individual person's/Character's possible Wrinkles, age spots, sagging, stretch marks, age spots, arthritis, osteoporosis, gradual age related cataracts, gradual age related loss of hearing, gradual development of dementia/Alzheimer's, gradual age related hair greying-whitening-silvering/hair thinning/hair reduction/hair loss all depending upon the decade and year of age.
Another thing that I had thought about is that there would be para avatar characters who would be insecure about the obvious outward appearances of their biological and chronological age so they would attempt to cover it up with anti-aging beauty regimen products various percentage of anti-aging makeup, anti-aging hair dye, anti-aging hair regrowth, and even botox/cosmetic/laser surgeries. While there would be others who wouldn't necessarily be as insecure of their obvious outward appearances of their biological and chronological age and actually be mentally proud even grateful of it and so they would be using pro-aging beauty regimen products with pro-aging hair do and pro-aging makeup to show off the obvious outward appearances signs of their biological and chronological age and still look their absolute best possible. And then there would be those that would be somewhere in between and so they would in turn use Beauty regimen products that would also be somewhere in between anti-aging beauty regimen products and pro-aging beauty regimen products.It would be interesting if the players could see the details up close and personal of as much of the  gradual aging process of the individual Sims characters physical outward appearances when they look in the vanity mirrors in order to apply their various types of personal beauty regimen products and their individually complex personality related responses and reactions to the gradual and clear evidence of the gradual aging process of their physical outward appearances.

If they continue producing the sims games than that may no longer be as much part of the rules for the consumers of the computer gamers consumers because they appreciate the extra amounts of content and would desire more games if certain amounts of content didn't arrive.

So, how are you guys feeling about The Sims 5 coming out? 

Hopefully, a pre-teen or middle schooler can be added to make me transition a little easily to the newer game, perhaps some cars!

TBH I'm not holding my breath until I get a release date.

I've heard it will be multiplayer and I have mixed feelings about that.

• ZOMG MY MODS LOL
• I already play in Discord with friends and we paste screenshots and occasionally share screens, so it might be nice to have our households hang out.
• That said, how will they manage time if it's multiplayer and hosted on servers that everyone everywhere connects to? will there be no speed 3/speed 4? will there be no age settings?
• While I've already said it would be nice to play with friends, it would suck to play with trolls.  I'd want to make sure that no one was coming in to burn down my house, LOL.  If there are mods, will there be roaming gangs with violent mods roaming the streets (sending unsupported server calls that render on their screen but not mine, perhaps)?
• My friend and I do a lot of family gameplay.  I'm mildly curious about what would happen if, say, my Sim's child married her Sim's child. Would one of us adopt the other's Sim? That might be cool, actually.
• Lots of people love player challenges; would those be adaptable/supported?
• I'm a rotational player; I'm not sure if that would work multiplayer. 
• If it's multiplayer realtime open world, there will probably be cars.
• I imagine that there will be a lot of account theft or attempted account theft.

If it's not multiplayer as in "everyone is connected realtime in the same world," would it instead be more like individual private chatrooms of playing?

So, I don't know, I'm going to guess that the servers would track your location, store building instructions, and send text codes of actions that are rendered on your local machines because bandwidth, so that might support mods? On the other hand, if they decide that they're going to support your potato as long as it has an internet connection, well, they'd have to handle the animations on their end. So I don't know.

I think that maybe the company was putting out small packs to satisfy some our friends that play the sims as well, and perhaps were having trouble with things or just wanted more.

Like the simple living, cottage expansion pack, was much needed! And I love every bit of it! 

However, I again I think that with those packs being released at a nice dollar amount also led the company to not necessarily promote the sims 5. But have a sense that perhaps something is coming next and better. And I am honestly intrigued and cannot wait haha
