Sims 4 window and doors placement issues

About a month ago (beginning oktober 2020) I've been having issues with my game. I can't place windows nor doors on the grid. In some places it kinda works but not really. If I try to put the window down the text can't intersect with walls appears. How can I fix this?

Use the moveobjects on cheat it's the only work around I've managed to find so far I'll see if I can find any other methods tomorrow same was happening to me.

@henk50 So you had this *before* the November patch? That's interesting information because I think we'd been getting the impression it was something that just started with the patch.
